Marco's passion for music and event organizing ignited in 1998 when he helped orchestrate the "Algarve em Chamas" festival. This event became a significant milestone in his life, remaining a constant presence until 2003, when he left the team for professional reasons. That same year, Marco further cemented his connection with the Portuguese music scene by participating in a small tour across Portugal with bands In Tha Umbra, Holocausto Canibal, Theriomorphic, and Goldenpyre.

After a hiatus, Marco made a triumphant return to the concert scene in 2022 by founding VectorSound Productions. The company's inaugural event was held on October 1, 2022, featuring performances by Spiritual Front, Dr. Frankenstein, and La Chanson Noire. That year also marked the debut of the Al-Metal Fest, a Metal festival that quickly gained prominence in the Portuguese Metal music scene.

The 3rd edition of Al-Metal Fest is set for December 5-7 next year at a to-be-announced location, promising to be another great success. Beyond event organization, VectorSound Productions is committed to booking and promoting bands and showcasing their talent on tours and at major festivals across Europe, Scandinavia and the rest of the world.
